10 Questions With Celeb Stylist June Ambrose

June Ambrose, the legendary celeb stylist and star of VH1’s “Styled By June” (fab reality show where she makes over struggling celebs, including a catatonic Mischa Barton) is a monstaaah. She’s worked with every boldface name on the planet, from Zoe Saldana to Kelly Ripa, and now the 40-year-old mommy is dipping her electric cobalt-painted toes in the beauty world. She’s just been named a celebrity ambassador to Caress — a Caress Fabulista, to be specific — and is spreading the good word of fab bath and skin products to the world. Here, I caught up with the superstar stylist, who dished on everything from her signature red lipstick to blowing up Missy Elliot’s inflatable garbage bag suit in the “Rain” video. Diva.

10 Questions With June Ambrose

SYB: What products are on your nightstand?

JUNE AMBROSE: A hand cream and a hydrating spritz.

Style-counseling wayward celeb Mischa Barton on “Styled By June.”

SYB: Your signature is your red lipstick…what brand, what name?!

JA: MAC Matte Ruby Woo

SYB: What makeup products are always in your bag?

JA: I travel often, so I always make sure pack mascara, moisturizer foundation, blush and a fantastic body wash. Right now, I’m in love with Caress Passionate Spell Fine Fragrance Elixir Body Wash. With bold scents of Passionfruit and Fiery Orange Rose, it’s the perfect way to get my day started with a bit of fabulousness.

SYB: Who is your beauty icon, and why?

JA: Dorothy Dandridge because she made being glamorous look so effortless. I loved how she wore confidence.

SYB: What beauty/hair trend would you pay to go away?

JA: I wish blue lips and goth/black bone straight hair would go away. The morbid look is not for the living.

SYB: What’s your biggest fashion pet peeve?

JA: Seeing women in ill-fitting clothes that give them “muffin tops” and or show off their tummy. Women should keep their meat neat.

SYB: What are the three garments everyone should own right now?

JA: Shapewear, a classic navy dress, a classic trench coat.

The Divine Miss M.

SYB: What’s your funniest/most memorable on-set anecdote?

JA: When I took Missy Elliott to the gas station to keep her inflatable suit full. I designed it with the same material used for inter tubes; however, the suite could easily be deflated.

SYB: What celeb do you think is most on top of her beauty/style game?

JA: Gwyneth Paltrow

SYB: What do you do to unwind?

JA: There is nothing better than a long, relaxing hot shower. When I’m at home and in need of a little R&R, I lather up with Caress Endless Kiss Silkening Body Wash. The rich scents of creamy vanilla and sandalwood help me unwind from a long day at work and leave my skin feeling silky smooth … a win-win!

Were you aware that they used it for Chinese herbal medicine?
Pimples form when hair follicles under your skin clog up.
These are just simple remedies that are found round the
home. There’s no waste to go in the land fills, either.
